The drag of the mannequin with cycling suit on the bike is measured by the wind-tunnel experiment which the range of the wind speed is between 5 and 20 m/s. Through the experiments, the influence of the cycling suits on the drag area is investigated under different wind speeds. In the range of the speed lower than 9 m/s, the drag area is almost the same or increased slightly while the wind speed increased. In the range of the speed higher than 9 m/s, the drag area of the model decreased significantly. It's found that the drag reduction effect is different if various patches are placed on the large-curvature position. The drag area is lower when the patches with round protrusions are placed around the shoulder and it's higher if the patches with elongated protrusions are placed.
