本研究旨在瞭解臺灣地區中等學校校長的領導型態、學校體育組組織效能及組織各層面效能之現況,並研析校長不同領導型態與體育組組織效能及各層面效能的相互關係。結果發現 一、校長之領導型態以「高關懷低體制」最多,餘依次為「低關懷高體制」、「低關懷低體制」、「高關懷低體制」。 二、學校體育組組織效能及各層面效能,介於「普通」~「好」之間。 三、中等學校校長所採用的領導型態,其效能以「高關懷高體制」較高;餘依次為「高關懷低體制」、「低關懷低體制」、「低關懷高體制」較低。「高關懷低體制」在組織效能及各層面效能顯著高於「低關懷高體制」。 四、校長的領導型態與體育組組織效能及各層面效能的相關值介0.3-0.6。且「關懷」層面與組織效能及各層面效能之相關皆高於「體制」層面。 五、校長領導型態逐步迴歸預測體育組組織效能及各層面效能之解釋力偏低,其值介於20%-30%。且「關懷」層面的解釋力大於「體制」層面。
The purposes of this study were to understand the leadership patterns of secondary school principals as well as organization effectiveness of PE department of schools, and to analyze how different leadership patterns affect the relationship of PE organization effectiveness and the effectiveness of each hierarchy of organizations. The “Questionnaire of relationship between leadership patterns and organization effectiveness” was distributed and administered. The 120 were randomly sampled from secondary schools. Descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, one-way MANOVA, Scheffe’ Method, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, stepwise regression analysis were utilized for data analysis. Within the scope of this study, the following conclusions were derived: 1. In the leadership pattern of principals in the secondary schools, it was indicated that “high consideration and high initiating structure” was the majority; the following were “low consideration and high initiating structure”, “low consideration and high initiating structure”, and the last one was “high consideration and low initiating structure”. 2. The effectiveness of comprehensive organization and each hierarchy was in the “middle” range of effectiveness. 3. “High consideration and low initiating structure” was significantly higher than “low consideration and high initiating structure” regarding to organization effectiveness and effectiveness in each hierarchy. 4. There was a medium positive correlation between the aspects of consideration, initiating structure, or consideration *initiating structure of principals and organization effectiveness and the effectiveness of each hierarchy. 5.By stepwise regression analysis, using principals leadership patterns to predict are organization effectiveness and effectiveness of each hierarchy is not good, which regression correlation below 30%.
