全球體育類院系排名指標之差異與反思

Investigate the college of physical education related fields from world university ranking

摘要

高等教育在國際化、少子化的時代，除了肩負教學、研究與服務外，面對世界大學排名結果公布後的種種壓力，對體育類院系亦多有衝擊，產生許多值得探討的現象。透過世界大學排名探討全球體育相關領域排名後發現：1.在各項世界大學排名系統裡，體育相關領域尚未有明確的定位；2.體育相關領域的評量指標不一致；3.體育相關領域排名系統多重視「研究品質」與「學術聲譽」。在上述現象當中，臺灣體育類院系的發展，如何在追求世界大學排名的卓越之際，亦兼顧教學、研究與服務的辦學使命，是值得深思的課題。

Under the lower birth rate and globalization, higher education includes not only teaching and research but service, facing the impact of world university rankings. In this circumstance，What has been happening since the ranking of college of physical education related fields begins from World University Ranking? After induction and analysis the world university ranking, we summarize three points: 1. With each of world university ranking system, the category of physical education related fields ranking has not yet clearly been defined. 2. The world university ranking systems nowadays can’t evaluate physical education related fields in all aspects. 3. To see the development of physical education related fields in Taiwan according to world university ranking, it is important to value research quality and academic reputation to rank physical education related fields in Taiwan among the best. In the condition of focusing on research quality, the physical education department must think how to move forward to teaching, research and mission.
