影響五專學生校外實習滿意度因素之探討-以東部某專科學校為例

Factors related to college students' internship satisfaction-A case study

摘要


校外實習課程是學生未來就業前的事前職場體驗,實習滿意度也與學生就業有直接或間接關係。許多研究指出校外實習滿意度與學生未來就業工作的選擇有關。校外實習課程除了提升學生專業知識技能外,還可增進學生的人際關係,養成獨立的精神,更讓學生提早熟悉職場工作,以達到畢業即就業的目標。然而校外實習滿意度會受到學生個人因素、實習機構、學校輔導、校內學習等因素的影響,進而影響到畢業後的職涯選擇。因此本研究將探討影響專科學生校外實習滿意度之因素為何。本研究將以東部某專科學校完成一年校外實習課程之397位五年級學生為對象,填寫一份70題的實習滿意度問卷調查。結果顯示,性別、科別、和實習薪資是影響學生校外實習滿意度的主要因素。本研究結果可提供學校、公司、和學生之參考。

Internship is a kind of short-term practical work experience where students have the opportunity to apply theory into practice and to strengthen their problem-solving ability, social skills, professional skills, as well as to develop good relationship with people in the field to enhance the employability on graduation. However, internship satisfaction is influenced by many factors and has impacts on their future job engagement in one way or another. Hence, the study aims to investigate how students are satisfied with their internship experience. Subjects are 397 seniors from 6 departments of a private five-year junior college, who just completed their one-year internship, and help to fill up the 70-item questionnaire dealing with their internship satisfaction. Findings revealed that genders, majors, and intern-with pay were the three factors relative to students' internship satisfaction. In addition, some suggestions are provided for the school, the company, and the students for a more successful internship program.
