Resonance Frequency Analysis in Dental Implant Stability

摘要


植牙的穩定性是決定植牙成功與否的關鍵因素之一,傳統上有許多方法可以用來判斷植牙的穩定性。但是大部份的方法,都是傾向主觀判斷而且缺乏科學性。近年來,共振頻率分析提供了非侵入性的定量測量來評估植牙的穩定性。評估的結果,不但可以數據化以方便作不同時間點的比較,並且可以同時觀察植牙穩定性的變化,了解骨整合的程度,並針對不同的臨床狀況,找出最理想的負荷時間。

Stability becomes one of the prerequisite factors in dental implant success. Although there are many methods to assess the stability of dental implant, some of them lack of sensitivity and objectivity. Instead, resonance frequency analysis provides a non-invasive quantitative measurement to evaluate the stability of dental implants. Screwing the transducer onto the fixture, implant stability can be measured by resonance frequency analysis. The change of dental implant stability can be monitored since the time of implant placement. Moreover, ideal loading time can be determined based on the implant stability. The resonance frequency analysis turns standard protocol into individual protocol according to the development of osseointegration.
