全身性振動與電剌激恢復模式對棒球投手延遲性肌肉痠痛的影響

Effects of Whole Body Vibration and Electromuscular Stimulation Recovery Methods on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness Following a Baseball Pitching

摘要


本研究目的在探討模擬賽中進行全身性振動(whole-body vibration, WBV)與電刺激(electromuscular stimulation, EMS)等立即被動恢復處理對於投手模擬賽後肌肉損傷指標之影響。本研究以9名大專公開組第 一級球隊之投手為研究對象。參與者以重複量數、對抗平衡次序設計分為WBV恢復處理、EMS恢復處理與對照(control, CON)處理等3次實驗,每次間隔7天。實驗開始先進行賽前測驗(baseline)(測驗項目:自覺肌肉酸痛指數 [visual analogue scale, VAS]、關節活動度[range of movement, ROM]、血清肌酸激酶[creatine kinase, CK]與肌紅蛋白[myoglobin, Mlb]濃度),隨後進行投球(投5局;每局投20球),每局投球完畢後,投手立即接受6分鐘的恢復,WBV進行振動頻率:50 Hz、40 Hz與30 Hz依序各2分鐘;振幅:1.5 mm之處理,EMS進行刺激頻率:9 Hz、8 Hz與7 Hz依序各2分鐘之處理,而CON僅安靜休息。此外,在賽後 之24、48與72小時(P24, P48與P72),投手進行模擬賽後恢復指標之測驗(post-test),項目與pre-test相同。研究結果發現WBV與EMS的VAS、CK與Mlb濃度在模擬賽後的P24與P48顯著低於CON,但是WBV與EMS間並無顯著差異。此外,WBV處理的ROM與CON達顯著差異。研究結論指出WBV與EMS之立即性被動恢復在棒球模擬賽中,作為局間的恢復處理皆可以顯著降低投手賽後肌肉損傷相關指標之水準,但僅WBV處理顯著改善ROM。

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of whole body vibration (WBV) and electromuscular stimulation (EMS) passive recovery methods on muscle damage in baseball pitcher following a simulated game. Total 9 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I level college baseball pitchers were participated in this study. All pitchers received three treatments: WBV, EMS, or control (CON) in a counterbalanced order, within subject crossover design, and each treatment was separated by 7 days. On Day 1 of this study, visual analogue scale (VAS) and range of motion (ROM) were measured. Blood samples were collected for analyses of serum creatine kinase (CK) and serum myoglobin (baseline), and then all pitchers performed a simulated game (pitcher performed 5 innings; 20 pitch counts per inning). After each inning, pitchers performed WBV (frequency: 50 Hz, 40 Hz, and 30 Hz for 2 min separately; amplitude: 1.5 mm), EMS (frequency: 9 Hz, 8 Hz, and 7 Hz for 2 min separately) or CON (only resting) methods. Finally, VAS, ROM, CK and myoglobin levels were measured at 24 hr, 48 hr and 72 hr after simulated game (P24, P48 and P72).The result showed that the VAS, concentrations of serum CK and myoglobin were significantly lower in WBV and EMS groups than the CON group at P24 and P48, but no significant difference between WBV and EMS groups. In addition, ROM in WBV group was significantly higher than CON group. The results of this study concludes that WBV and EMS, the acute passive recovery methods between innings of pitching during a simulated game could effectively decrease the levels of delayed onset muscle soreness, however only WBV training significantly improved the ROM.
