Based on enormous firsthand materials as daily, journals, memoirs, newspapers, archives, bibliographies, and books etc., this article tries to clarify two important contributions concerning Mr. T. K. Koo, Union Book Store, and Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography. By doing so, the author tells the story of T. K. Koo: How he had contributed to the cultural exchange and communication between China and the West through Union Book Store and Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography. In all, this article makes all efforts to explore the history of a faceless librarian of the National Library of Peiping.
