初探谢川成的文学评论

An Analysis of Chiah Seng's Literary Criticisms

摘要

谢川成于70年代中开始写作，主力在现代诗创作和文学评论，于1980年初出版了第一本评论集《现代诗诠释》，并于1988年出版诗集《夜观星象》。2000年他又推出两本评论集：《现代诗心情》与《谢川成的文学风景》。此外，谢川成可谓是马华文坛第一人深入研究温任平的作品，包括其诗歌、散文、散文理论、序文等。最难得的是谢川成开拓了新颖的文学评论风格，即从语言学的角度深入品析作品，具体地阐释各种用词手法所营造的效果。本文将梳理谢川成这30年来所写的大部分文学评论，分析他的评论类型、提出的评论观点以及他对马华文学发展的看法。无可否认，谢川成的文集弥补了马华现代文坛相对来讲最匮乏佳作的那一块瘠土－文学评论研究，实对马华现代文坛做出了重大贡献。

Chiah Seng started his literary writing as early as 1970s. He focused mainly on the writing of modern poetry and literary criticism. In fact, he has published 3 books in literary criticisms, in addition to several criticism articles that either published in journals or as chapters in books. This paper intends to analyze Chiah's publications on literary criticisms. For a period of 30 years, Chiah has criticized various genres, such as modern poetry, novel, drama and prose, written by writers from Malaysia as well as overseas. An analysis following the chronological order of Chiah's publications would reveal the changes in his style of writing, and categorization of his literary criticism works. One of the main focuses of this paper is on the discussion of Chiah's literary criticisms on works written by Wen Ren Ping. Chiah's views on the development of Mahua literature would also be mentioned.
