Tang Yin is the representative literati of Cheng-Hua, Hung-Zhi generation of Ming Dynasty. Zhu Yun-Ming, Wen Zhen-Ming, Xu Zhen-Qing and Tang Yin himself are the Big Four of Wu-Zhong Literati. A literati group is established by their social relationships and mentor, which fosters a unique-region writing style and the poetry perspective is valued. The goal of this article is to understand the history and social relations of Tang Yin based on biography-info collection Together with other poetry works of Ming Dynasty, this article is to focus on the trend of his poetry inheritance and style. In the meantime, by an overall observation on Wu-Zhong literati group, this article not only highlights Tang Yin's limit or contradiction on poetry but also expects to comb out his achievements of literature and art on theory and creation, which seemed to portray an outstanding impression from general revivalism at that time.
