The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of creativity support tool on badminton on improving students’ creative thinking. Methods: the participants were 28 fifth graders (15 males and 13 females) recruited from an elementary school in northern Taiwan. They received one treatment a week and lasted for four weeks. A creativity test, Williams creativity assessment packet including evaluation of divergent feeling and thinking, was conducted before and after the treatment. Results: through the analysis of a paired t-test, the results show that regarding divergent thinking aspect, the participants had significant improvement on dimensions of fluency, originality, elaboration, and glasnost. For divergent feeling, no significant improvement was identified in dimensions of curiosity, imagination, complexity, and risk taking. Conclusion: these findings indicated that the creative instruction course with creativity support tool on badminton systems was able to improve the students’ performance on thinking of creativity.
