摘要

目前在台灣有關長青人士的醫療與日常生活照顧方面之研究已經有相當成果，然而在精神層次方面之研究，似應更投入，本研究係運用網路學習演唱經典英文歌曲，藉以提升常青人士精神生活品質，發揮潛能。歌唱是人類內心之語言，每當人生不如意時，它可慰籍，鼓舞我們的心靈，人人都有潛能從事歌唱，特別是長青人士，因為在他們的記憶中有很多經典的歌曲。在電子時代，各種知識，資訊，隨時隨地均可取得，運用。在本研究中經典英文歌曲將被加以分類，首先，一些熟悉美麗名曲將被選出，長青學習者先上網聽數次，勾起以往的回憶，然後，瞭解歌詞，開始練習，最後，以英文卡拉OK方式演唱，成為他們自己演出中的明星。經由這個過程，長青人士能非常有效地學會演唱經典英文歌曲，回到年少的記憶，走進時光隧道完成往日的夢想。並藉由觀賞英文音樂影片，提升英文能力，增加世界觀，迎接更美好燦爛的人生。

Nowadays, the population of senior citizen has been increasing steadily in Taiwan because of excellent medical care and biotechnological development. Therefore, taking care of the senior citizens has become a very important issue and many studies have been conducted on the medical and daily care for the senior citizens. However, more research on how to improve their inner spiritual and learning life needs to be carried out. The purpose of this study is to promote the quality of the inner life for the senior citizen by learning and singing classical English songs. Singing is the language of the heart. It can reduce stress, make us happy and look the bright side of life. All of us have potential in learning and singing English songs. The senior citizens are especially good at this because there are a lot of classical songs in their memories. In this electronic age, knowledge and information is everywhere and can be accessed anytime, all the time. In this study, many classical English songs which are familiar to the senior citizens will be classified. During their party and group activities, senior citizens can surf the internet to find music videos of those songs and listen to them and study the lyrics to refresh their memories. Then they can sing them with English karaoke by oneself or together and be the star of their own shows. Through this process, the senior citizens can recall their memories, enter the tunnel of time and fulfill their old dreams. They also can improve their English and broaden their world view. As a result, their life can become more delightful and glorious.
