An Investigation of College Students' English Study and Presentation Skills

This study examines whether presentation skills can assist to improve ESL/EFL students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The study surveyed 80 college students. Students' presentation skills were investigated, using MAIIPS survey questionnaire, to explain its impact on English study outcomes. In addition, SASEF are used for students to self-evaluate their class learning attitudes. Through data analysis, the results should explore the effects of students' presentation skills on English study outcomes. The objectives of this study focus on a brief literature review related to English language learning and individual presentation skills in ESL/EFL contexts. Through a qualitative exploratory approach and quantitative statistical analysis, findings are expected to achieve teaching results and to provide certain feedback and suggestions for Taiwanese students and teachers with regard to learning and teaching in English education contexts.
