節能玻璃對建築節能影響之研究

The Impact of Energy-Efficient Glass on Building Energy-Saving

背景:近年來,全球莫不關注節能減碳的議題,而住商部門的碳排放量是不容小覷,在國家節能減碳總目標之下,建築產業亦無法自外於這波節能減碳的國際浪潮。隨著玻璃科技與工藝技術的迅速發展,節能玻璃似可在建築節能的領域扮演更重要之角色,讓建築的節能設計可以有更多的選擇性。目的:本研究目的係以節能實驗屋為分析模型,解析玻璃各項性能的差異對於建築節能的影響程度,並將影響程度予以量化。方法:以內政部建築研究所建置之節能實驗屋為研究對象,利用加拿大自然資源部所開發之軟體RET Screen進行節能玻璃之相關解析與模擬。結果:本研究以建研所實驗屋作為研究對象,並以其實際之相關參數作為解析參數,再以RET Screen軟體作為分析工具,解析結果發現以該案例而言,窗玻璃的SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient)值對於建築耗能影響甚為顯著,SHGC每降低0.1,約可降低耗能8.5%,而玻璃的U值並不是影響耗能的重要因素,甚至其影響程度可以忽略。而使用節能玻璃,約可節省35%之空調耗能,節能效益顯著。結論/應用實務:根據解析結果,玻璃的SHGC對於建築節能的影響程度遠高於U值,此一解析結果可印證亞熱帶地區,太陽之熱能因室內外溫差而透過玻璃傳導至室內的熱量,遠低於透過玻璃直接輻射進入室內的熱量,而採用節能玻璃可顯著發揮建築節能之效益,尤其是有大開窗需求的建築設計,建議可採用節能玻璃,以降低空調能耗。

Background: Houses give off a high percentage of a country's total carbon dioxide emissions. One way to cut the greenhouse emissions of houses, and therefore help stop global warming, is to minimize the energy use. Energy-efficient glass is regarded as one of the important factors that influence energy consumption and carbon reduction of the buildings. Actually, how building's energy consumption and carbon reduction is impacted by energy-efficient glass under different circumstances is worthy of our further research. Purposes: The main goal of this research is to analyze the influence of energy-efficient glass on building's energy consumption and carbon reduction. Besides, researchers probe into the degree of its impact under different circumstances. Methods: Researchers took the experimental houses which were constructed by Architecture and Building Research Institute, Ministry of the Interior as the research objects to conduct related analysis and simulation of energy-efficient glass. The study was carried out by the following procedures, collecting the parameters of the energy saving projects, making the simulations, and analyzing the correlation and sensitivity of the glass factors affecting architecture energy saving. Results: The results of this research showed that SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) of glass has remarkable influence on building's energy consumption, when the outer wall has excellent property of heat insulation, and general window-wall-ration is used. It also showed that SHGC of glass decreases by 0.1, equaling to lowering about 8.5% of energy consumption of the air conditioner. On the other hand, we found that U value of glass had slight impact on energy consumption of the buildings with the same analysis and simulation. Conclusions/Implications for Practice: According to the stimulation results, among the improvement items of glass thermal performance for promoting the air-conditioning energy saving efficiency, the obvious one is reduction of SHGC of glass which is to reduce its solar radiation transmittance and the in-efficient one is improvement of U value of glass which is to improve its insulation performance.
