過碳酸鈉於石油碳氫化合物污染土壤之整治應用

The Application of Sodium Percarbonate in the Remediation of Petroleum Hydrocarbon Contaminated Soil

摘要


現地化學氧化技術已廣泛運用於石油碳氫化合物污染土壤之整治,目前國內環境工程界常用之氧化劑為雙氧水、臭氧、過硫酸鈉及過錳酸鉀,過碳酸鈉近年來已成為新興的氧化劑,除了應用於食品、醫療衛生、紡織、造紙、電鍍等行業,亦運用在現地污染整治,過碳酸鈉經由催化劑活化可獲得更高之氧化電位,針對石油碳氫化合物污染土壤之整治應用成效優異,本文除介紹過碳酸鈉特性外,並討論過碳酸鈉與其他化學藥劑經活化後對總石油碳氫化合物污染物降解率之比較,本研究採用實際污染土壤進行化學活化評估以利與生物處理技術串接,研究結果顯示過碳酸鈉活化因溶氧維持時間較久且呈現中鹼性,故優於雙氧水活化及過硫酸鈉活化更適合進行生物處理技術串接。

In situ chemical oxidation is widely applied in the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated sites. The most common oxidants used in Taiwan for environmental engineering are hydrogen peroxide, ozone, sodium persulfate, and potassium permanganate. Nowadays, sodium percarbonate is a novel chemical conducted to food industry, medical hygiene, papermaking, electroplating and so on. Sodium percabonate are utilized in situ chemical oxidation for the remediation of organic compound contaminated site. After adding catalysts, chemical action were occurred to obtain a higher oxidation potential which is advantaged to higher removal efficiency for the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil. This paper introduces these characteristics of sodium percarbonate, and discusses the differences about chemical activation using other oxidants through a case study combining chemical oxidation and enhanced bioremediation. Consequently, activation of sodium percarbonate causes a longer dissolved oxygen duration ether than hydrogen peroxide or sodium persulfate activation. The neutral/alkaline pH after chemical activation of sodium percarbonate is considered as candidate for the sequent integration of enhanced bioremediation.
