電子紙產業技術創新與應用之研究

A study of technological innovation and application in E- paper industry

摘要


電子產業向來都是扮演著台灣產業向前邁進的龍頭,其中近年來電子書相關領域應用已逐步走入生活化,成為全球新一波數位化趨勢下的新藍海,而其所用的電子紙則可大幅減少紙張用量與能源損耗和廢棄物處理負擔,堪稱革命性的產物。 因此本研究對電子紙的掘起做深入的探討,瞭解e化知識內容的傳播為何? 並分析e化後所衍生出的數位內容,應用平台,版權問題,與使用者的便利性,產品成熟度是否符合使用者需求,以及國內電子紙如何做到技術創新與克服技術瓶頸等問題之研究,與電子紙技術不斷升級,未來的競爭也越來越激烈,激勵國內產業對此領域的發展,更趨一步與國家發展計畫之重要產業,其掌握多少關鍵技術亦是本研究深入討論之議題,此外本研究就各企業在電子紙產業的供應鏈關係,得知電子紙技術和電子書應用被視為是帶動國內外電子產業新商機重要一環。 電子紙應用範圍相當廣泛,可應用於電子書、電子雜誌與報紙、手機、電子標籤、數位電子看板及廣告顯示、智慧與信用卡、攜帶型記憶儲存裝置、衣服、其它各類應用等領域為新一代的科技產業。 本研究方法可分為兩方面,一、使用「個案分析法」,二、對產研單位做「專家會議與深度訪談法」從議題交談中找出如何運用技術創新,對電子紙做出何種貢獻,目前所需面對的各種問題,無論從軟體格式、應用平台相容性、數位內容、硬體設備廠、市場應用面等,將所研究之成果,提供相關企業有意投入電子紙產業領域,詳述其技術創新與突破與應用。

This study will explore the research of electronic paper techniques and applications on associated platforms. Technological industry has been the main pioneer among related fields for a long period of time. In fact, due to the ideal function to decrease paper use rapidly as well as to reduce extra energy utilization and the burden of waste, electronic books --which gradually emphasizes daily application, has become the new blue ocean under the new wave of electronic trends. This study will explore the details of the emergence of electronic papers, along with the discussion of electronic knowledge and relative contents, which include induced digital ergonomics, application platforms, copyright problems, convenience for users, the standards of maturity for products, and the solutions to conquer in the procedure of technical renovations. As the techniques of electronic books continuously update, dramatic competition would be around the corner, which stir up more development and research, even influence national developmental planning. Furthermore, according to the utilization of electronic paper techniques along with its application in the supply chain of many companies, this study also tries to figure out the key role of electronic books among technical industry and commercial opportunities. The applications of electronic paper are wide and spread, among them include electronic books, magazine, newspaper, cell phone, tags, digital compounds, billboards, credit cards, portable deposition device, clothes and other new technical products. This study will use case analysis and experts consulting methods to figure out the adequate ways to utilized innovative techniques as well as the relative dedication and existing problems. The discussion of software format, the compatibility of application platform, digital contents, hardware factory, and marketing applications, could provide with relative enterprise many usable suggestions.
