改善機車停放秩序之設計—以臺北市戶外公有免費停車格為例

Design For Scooter Parking based on the Behavior of Scooter Users—A Case Study of Free Parking Lot in Taipei City

摘要


機車作為臺灣日常生活中不可或缺的交通載具,已成為一種獨特的文化特色。然而在過度的發展下,停車空間的不足逐漸產生出不同的環境問題與不便。現有停車格的設置存在許多停放障礙與任意擺放的問題,反映出規劃上的不周全與人性使用間的矛盾。本研究目的在於統整現存機車停車環境的規劃,並從觀察與實驗的角度了解使用行為上與環境間的相互關係,整理出影響停車問題的因素,試圖提出新的停放模式檢驗停車問題的改善效益。研究結果顯示:1.在停放擁擠的狀況下,使用者為了牽引機車會被迫站在右側操作。2.人行道與路面產生之高低差距離會影響超越停車格線的行為。3.適當的阻隔方式能維護個人停車空間之權益。經過本研究提出的停車磚具體改善方案進行檢證,建議:1.配合設置環境的高度與寬度,保障使用權益。2.增加停車磚的表面摩擦力與消除尖銳邊角,以提高使用安全性。3.考量生態與工程維護,使用耐久防腐材料。4.依據地質環境增設不同螺栓裝配方式。期許未來的停車格規劃能導入停車磚的概念,幫助使用者停放機車更為便利且安全,改善停車秩序與維護停車權益。

Scooters, being essential transportation vehicles in Taiwan, have become a unique cultural feature in Taiwan. However, due to excessive development of scooters, insufficiency in scooter parking facility is causing many environmental issues and inconveniences. Many parking obstacles and problems exist in current design of scooter parking lots, and this design reveals the contradiction between city planning and human nature. This research aims to consolidate the current forms of scooter parking environment in Taiwan, to understand the relationship between the behavior of scooter riders and environment through observation and experimental records, to find out the factors affecting the order of parking space, then attempt to identify a solution to improve scooter parking conditions. The result showed that: (1) in order to park or walk scooters when the parking space is full of scooters, riders are forced to handle their scooters by standing on the right side of their scooters, (2) the height difference between the street and the sidewalk will affect the behavior of parked the scooter such that it exceeds he marked parking space, and (3) appropriate limitative object can protect the rider's right to use the allocated parking space. In conclusion, we recommend: (1)setting the height and width of parking bricks according to different environmental conditions, (2)adding friction to the surface of parking bricks while smoothening and rounding off sharp edges, (3)using eco-friendly material that can be easily maintained, and(4) using bolt installation according to different ground characteristics. We expect that with this parking brick concept, the scooter parking area will become more safe and convenient in the future, while improving the parking order and protecting the rider's rights to park their scooters.
