小兒麻痺後遺症患者經肘部屈曲成形後之效果－個案報告
Physical Therapy and Surgical Intervention for the Purpose of Improving Elbow Flexion in Polio with Biceps Brachialis Paralysis
摘要
在脊髓灰白質炎－小兒麻痺後遺症患者中，四肢同時受侵犯者不多，但常的上肢患者，有的整肢肌肉麻痺，而有些手部動作盡失，如幸遇手部尚有部份肌力時，肘部屈曲成形術，肩關節固定術成爲增進上肢功能不可少的外科矯治，本個案報告是報導一物理治療對手術後患者的肌肉再教育，及教導患者以肩胛動作代替肩部的活動，在加強手術效果中所扮演的角色。

Surgical re-construction or Tendon transplantation for seq. of poliomylitis cases, sometimes, could offer a remarkable improvement, functional or cosmetic. This case report revealed that a well tailored exercise program can enhance the results of the surgical correction and help the patient to reach his maximum benefit.
