摘要

文學作品與讀者的關係什麼呢？除了文學批評以外，非本科系出身的讀者，要怎樣閱讀文學呢？本文認為，每一位作者都有他自己閱讀文學的特殊情境，或許是大環境、或許是個人所關心的切身問題；因此，在文學鉅觀的評論之外，還有另一個微觀地「應用」文學的空間。作者在本文將以臺灣現代主義小說為對象，進行一次回到作者自身處境的應用與再閱讀。

What the relationship between literature and readers should be? Traditionally, literature critique holds a macro view to build the history of literarily criticism. This article, however, claims a chance for lay people to read literature in a self-related way. Other than presenting a universal strategy to “read” text, the author provides an alternative way for lay people to “appropriate” literature as a way to understand oneself. Take an example; with the help of the Post-Studies, one could rethink his existential condition while reading literature. Thus, literature is no more a professional skill limited in the academic scope. In this article, the Modernist Novels have been the objects to help reveal the appropriation. The author has provided her own experience of enjoying novel reading.
