戰前日本受西方社會主義規劃概念影響之檢驗－以日本式的「職工村」及「田園都市」為探討對象
A Study on the Influence of Western Socialistic Planning Idea in Japan Before Word War Ⅱ: A Discussion on Japanese Style "Industrial Village" and "Garden City"
摘要
日本在明治維新之後，就一直積極的引入西方重要的制度與文明。而在發展工業、累積資本的過程中，日本也如同西方先進國家一般面臨了嚴重的社會及都市問題。本文主要以兩篇日本研究其國內都市計劃史的重要學者之著作為骨幹，介紹戰前日本國內受西方社會主義規劃概念影響而建設的「職工村」與「田園都市」個案，分析個案發展背景及重要的城市規劃理念。除了聯結上日本在戰前的歷史脈絡，並以批判的角度來關懷我國的居住環境及規劃上的課題。將對於國內本土的都市規劃史研究，也有相當程度的啟示。

Japan had been importing various institutions following Western models since the Meiji Restoration of 1868. However, during the process of industrialization and capitalization, Japan had met serious social and urban problems just as western countries had. It major introduced the cases of ”industrial village” and ”garden city” effected by the Occident socialistic planning idea in Japan before World War II, including their background and taking a historical view of them. Besides to be concerned with the historical context of prewar Japan, it has care for the issues of living environment and planning from a critical point. However, it would be revelatory for the local study of the history of Urban planning in our country.
