近年來,在養殖草蝦(Penaeus monodon)白點症病毒(white spot syndrome virus, WSSV)檢測結果顯示,90%以上皆爲白點症病毒帶原蝦。本研究以反轉錄酶-聚合酶鏈反應得知,在白點症病毒低帶原草蝦檢體內,白點症病毒基因wssv194,wssv313與wssv369確實進行轉錄表現,推測其與蝦白點症病毒的潛伏有關。而初步啓動子分析顯示,wssv194之啓動子在昆蟲細胞中可被辨識並進行轉錄作用。其核心啓動子可能位於ATG上游126 bp之中,爲帶有起始子序列之啓動子(Inr+promoter)。
Recently, white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) was detected in 90% of cultured black tiger shrimps (Penaues monodom). Three WSSV expressed orfs, wssv194, wssv313, wssv369, were detected as the latency-associated genes in the WSSV carrier by the RT-PCR. The promoter analysis shows the promoter of wssv194 could be recognized in the insect cell and initiates the transcription of the reporter. It suggests that the core promoter of wssv194 located in the 126bp upstream of the initiation ATG is initiator-containing.
