摘要

深開挖工程於台灣地區之應用至少已經歷卅年之發展，於相關之設計及施工方法等方面皆有相當之進步。本文嚐試對設計及施工實務之現況及或演化過程作扼要之描述或申論，並舉出三個具指標性之個案以見証深開挖之演化過程。

Deep excavation has been used in Taiwan as a construction technique for more than three decades, and the associated design/construction methods have improved significantly over this period. This paper provides a succinct review regarding the status quo and evolvement of the deep excavation design/construction methods. Three case histories, each considered as landmark to the evolvement of deep excavation technique, are also listed for reference.
