摘要

近年來勞工朋友們的禿髮現象日益嚴重，而本文章則針對此一問題，及一些較新的治療方式加以討論。
頭髮是由毛囊生出來的，一根頭髮的生命可以分成三個時期:生長期，萎縮期和休息期。頭髮在進入休息期時，毛囊會再度進入一個新的週期，開始長新的頭髮，而休息期的頭髮會慢慢被新生的毛髮推出毛囊而掉落。以整個頭皮來說，有85%的毛髮在生長期（Anagen），1%在萎縮期（Categen），14%在休息期（Telogen）。頭髮平均1個月長1到2公分不一定，要看年紀和營養狀況，壽命大概有1000天。
