伸展療法與冷療法對延遲性肌肉酸痛的影響

The Effects of Stretching and Cryotherapy on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness

摘要


從事激烈運動後24-48小時才明顯的酸痛,稱爲延遲性肌肉酸痛(DOMS)。先前許多研究試著尋找出一些有效的療法,以便减輕酸痛的程度,或縮短酸痛的時間,但至今仍無一致的定論。本研究的目的在探討伸展療法和冷療法對延遲性肌肉酸痛的療效。受試者為30名體育系學生,平均年齡21.9±0.9歲,身高174.2±1.54公分,體重67.6±1.0公斤。以隨機分派的方式將受試者分成三組:靜態伸展組、冷療組、控制組。首先測量受試者非慣用手手肘伸展角度、肱二頭肌最大肌力及疼痛指數,並抽血分析CK值。再利用離心收縮運動,使肱二頭肌達到延遲性肌肉酸痛的狀態,幷且在離心收縮後的24、48、72小時各測試其手肘伸展角度、疼痛指數和血液CK值,在72小時時加測其最大肌力。在延遲性肌肉誘發後,各組按其組別之不同接受靜態伸展或冷療的處理,其處理的時間爲運動後的0、1、2、24、48、72小時各接受一次處理。本研究所獲得結果發現:靜態伸展處理在手肘伸展角度、疼痛指數及CK值三方面均較冷療組及控制組有顯著的正面效果。結論:(1)靜態伸展處理,可以减輕受試者DOMS的狀態、且能增加ROM、及疼痛指數之恢復速率,可以作為治療DOMS的一種有效的療法。(2)冷療的處置,並不能減輕DOMS、疼痛指數、CK活性之狀態、以及減慢ROM、最大肌力之恢復,可能不適合用來處理DOMS的症狀。

This study investigated the effects of static stretching and cryotherapy on delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Thirty healthy, active males, age 21.9±0.9yrs, height174.2±1.5cm and body weight 67.6±1.0Kg, served as subjects. Subjects were randoml assigned into stretching, cryotherapy and control groups. DOMS was initiated with eccentric exercise for bicep brachii on the non-dominant arm. Range of motion (ROM), soreness score and serum creatine kinase (CK) activity were measured prior to and at 24,48 and 72 hrs after the exercise. Isometric strength was assessed before exercise and 72 hrs postexercise. Treatments wrer performed on the stretching (10min) and cryotherapy (15min) subjects immediately after and 1,2,24,48 and 72 hrs after the exercise. The results showed that the stretching group had higher ROM, lower soreness score and lower CK as compared to the control group. The cryotherapy, did not relieve soreness and did not improve ROM and isometric strength. Conclusions: Static stretching can help to diminish DOMS after eccentric exercise in men. However, cryotherapy has a negatice effect in treating DOMS.
