摘要


有關1945年以來迄今的戰後台灣的政教關係,雖依各種宗教在其不同階般的傳播狀況,可有其各自不同的發展風貌。特別是在1949年出現所謂特殊的「雙源匯流」現象之後,我們若要再就其整體發展狀況,探討二戰後台灣佛教領域所出現的各種政教關係,則實可以解嚴(1987年)為界,分其為前、後兩時期來分別說明。並且,在解嚴之前,只有符合政權統治的需要、並經政界收編的宗教,才能有較高的自由度,否則即很容易被判入異端邪說,而遭制裁。本章主要分由:戰後佛門三寃案、政府嚴密管制佛教、佛教界大力支持政府、政府的宗教態度及對佛教控制的策略運用、佛門人士參與反共活動等方面加以論述,藉以探討戰後台灣佛教與政治的關係。
