Reduction of Losses at the Start-up of DC Motor Using the Voltage Amplitude Variation Law

This study is concerned for exploring the possibilities of reducing losses in electric drives of heavy startup conditions. Under the latter refers to electric drives with large quantities of the total moment of inertia of the rotating parts of the electric drives and machinery, in the presence of the moment of inertia at the starting process.
