摘要

理想的住宅，除了能滿足一般正常人使用機能外，應是一個可包含年輕時行動不便、年老時在宅安養、老化時居家照護、以至在宅臨終等綜合性功能的居住環境；換言之，理想的住宅所追求的應該是一個能滿足居住者不同階段的生活能力與居住需求，讓居住者不需要面臨居住環境的變遷或改造的永續性住宅模式，亦即所謂「終生住宅」模式。本文即針對終生住宅適應居住者生命週期（包含健康期、障礙期、臥床期）所需空間及設備所作之建議。

The ideal house, besides being able to meet the general normal person's function of using, it should be the living environment of the comprehensive function of including disability when one can youngly, one being old to look after in the residence at home, and one even approaching one's end of life...etc; In other words, what the ideal house pursued should be that one can meet occupant's viability at different stages and inhabit the demand, and a sustainable house way to let occupants not need to face the changes or the transformation of the living environment forever, namely the so-called ”ageless house” way.This text adapts to occupant life cycle to the house all one's life promptly (Include health period, obstacle period, lie in bed period), Suggestions made of the necessary space and equipment.
