性與死：論邱妙津〈水甕裡的紅蠍〉中的「死亡本能」

摘要

本文選定已故作家邱妙津的短篇小說──〈水甕裡的紅蠍〉作為探討「死亡本能」的文本材料。向來擅以「同志書寫」作為題材的邱妙津，在〈水甕裡的紅蠍〉一文中卻一反同志書寫，以異性戀為主題鋪陳「性」與「死」的連接性。而故事角色的心境類同伏筆，與邱妙津最後的人生選擇有所重疊。為此，本文將從心理學視角對〈水甕裡的紅蠍〉一文進行剖析，追溯故事中主角的深層欲望，窺探他們藉完成變態「性目的」來突破「死亡本能」此迴圈的選擇，以此觀看「死亡本能」於文學作品中呈現之形態，並試將〈水甕裡的紅蠍〉的研究價值以單篇論文形式，重新擺放回「邱妙津文學研究」場域。
