傳道法師的教育觀芻探

摘要

馳名於當今台灣佛教界、文化界與教育界的傳道法師，以草根風骨及敏利辯才享譽宇內。他致力於弘揚印順導師的人間佛教思想，在環保議題、社會運動及信眾教化等方面，都有卓越之表現。從教育角度探討，傳道法師實為一傑出社會教育家。本文採文本分析法，旨在梳理、歸納傳道法師在教育目的、內容、方法及道德實踐諸層面之立場與識見，以彰顯其教育觀的特質。本研究發現，在教育目的上，傳道法師主張本質的價值，強調培養智慧與慈悲兼備的信眾，重視人的自我革新、自我成德，以及側重現緣的熏習與引發；在教育內容上，兼顧內學和外學，不但呈顯生活化與實用性取向，同時針對偏差觀念與陋習加以評破；在教學方法上，採旁引譬喻法、實例分析法、當面直指法、問答討論法、隨機點撥法、陪同參訪法、網路影音法等多樣化方法；在道德實踐上，則強調道德力行的重要。這些教育觀點，富贍參考價值。

Well-known in today's Buddhism in Taiwan, cultural and educational missionary Master, Chuan-dao is famous for his sharp eloquence and his great morality. He immersed himself in promoting Teacher Yin-shun's thinking ”The Buddhism in human world”. And he also accomplished remarkable performances in environmental issues, social movements and the enlightenment of believers, etc. From an educational perspective, Chuan-dao is indeed an outstanding Master of social educators. This article uses text analysis, only in order, summarizes the purpose of Chuan-dao's position and insight in education, content, methods and ethical practice of various aspects to highlight the nature of its educational philosophy.The study found that Chuan-dao advocates the value of nature on the aim of education. Emphasizing on cultivating the believers who possess wisdom and mercy, besides he also focus on people's self innovation, self moralization, and pay attention to inspiring and learning the present destiny; on educational perspective, insight-learning and outside-learning should both be well-equipped. Not only reveals the orientation of human life and practicability, but also comments and criticizes particularly on biased-concept and bad habits. For teaching methods, he adopts a variety of ways such as, implicit analogy method, case study method, directly-pointed method, question and discussion method, random enlightenment method, company and visiting method, or by using internet and video as well. On moral practicing, stresses the importance of moral routine. These educational points of view are extremely worth considering.
