Chinese Abstract

創傷的心理症狀隨著時代在演進。一方面保存既有的元素,另一方面也新增每個時代特有的創傷症狀。由於生活經驗日趨繁複,創傷也展演出多重樣貌,不斷打破人類習以為常且過度依賴的思考模式。處理日漸增加的創傷症狀的同時,人類要學習以不同的角度看待生活經驗與記憶,不能執著於單一原則或思考模式。創傷無法由語言或文字再現,卻不能因此一味地壓抑創傷的記憶。分析《記憶傳授人》書中的語言問題後,我主張要藉由不斷的分享與溝通,讓不同的個人意識有所互動,進而發掘創傷經歷所賦予人生的可能性。另一方面,創傷記憶會在創傷主體的內心重複展現,使歷史和記憶遭到中斷與停滯。但是在《等待果陀》書中,停滯的歷史記憶卻可以讓主體跳脫出線性的時間觀念,有多重觀點來觀察歷史記憶的殘餘遺跡。而在科技的時代中,現代人心甘情願地走進科技意識形態所編織的羅網中,身陷創傷經驗而不自知。人類的身體機能被科技的產物所取代;人類的身體被科技銘刻、滲透、耍弄。然而,現代人卻可以藉由科技的輔助,找出更多觀看世界的方式,創造出更多樣化的生活經驗來。

English Abstract

The psychological symptom of the trauma evolves with times. It preserves its original elements and obtains new symptoms in each specific age. Because the lived experiences become more and more complicated, the trauma performs multiple manifestations as well, continually breaking human beings’ taken-for-granted and over-dependent thinking modes. Dealing with the increasing traumatic symptoms, people learn that they should treat lived experiences and memories from varied perspectives, and that they should not cling obstinately to single principles or thinking modes. Although the trauma cannot be represented by language or words, it is useless to insistently repress traumatic memories. After analyzing the linguistic issues in The Giver, I think that different consciousnesses, through the incessant sharing and communication, can interact with each other, digging out the possibilities of life granted by traumatic experiences. Besides, the traumatic memory shows up repeatedly in the mind of the traumatic subject, making his history and memory interrupted and stagnated. However, in Waiting for Godot, the standstill history and memory make traumatic subjects get rid of the linear time and acquire multiple perspectives for observing the remnant traces of history and memory. In the age of technology, modern people willingly fall into the snare made by the technological ideology, getting stuck in the traumatic situation without awareness. Human faculties are replaced by technological products; human body is marked, infiltrated, and manipulated by technology. However, modern people, with the assistance of technology, can find more methods to observe the world and create more colorful lived experiences.
