A Study on Campus Planning of Rural Community Elementary Schools-Examples of Rural Elementary Schools in Nantou County

因應整體社會變遷產生對農村教育型態與校園空間需求的轉變，以農村地區小學校園獨特的環境特性而言，確實迥異於都市中的小學校園，因此不適合用同一規範規劃農村小學，故應以不同於都市小學校園規劃之思維模式，突顯出農村小學所具有之社區特性，因此，本研究為瞭解農村小學校園規劃與社區結合發展現況，選定南投縣農村社區中四所國小進行實地調查與訪談，以得知不同社區類型的發展差異與校園規劃之關係，發現農村地區中的小學校園規劃需有別於都市化的規劃觀點，以融合學校周邊社區的自然生態環境與濃郁的生產、生活、生態之三生文化氣息，來形塑出農村社區小學為社區中的教育與生活之核心，以展現出農村社區小學的特質及價值。 本研究之結論建構出農村中的社區小學校園規劃之八項準則包含：社區參與學校願景規劃與常態性的校園發展、農村環境特性的表現、因應地區的整體社會變化、降低環境負荷並符合農村生態的校園建築、連續性的校園空間、符合開放式的教育理念、地方意象與社區文化的表徵、校園空間與設備複合化使用，並藉由規劃準則的建立，導入校園規劃準則的操作模式。 本研究成果為重新建立對農村地區中「教育」的核心價值思維，盼望提供規劃設計者參考，並真正落實於農村社區小學校園規劃實際操作之層面。
In accord with the entire society resulting in the change of the rural education mode and the demand for the campus space, the unique environmental character of elementary school campus in rural areas is truly different from the elementary school campus in metropolitan areas. Therefore, the planning of rural elementary school campus should not be similar to the past. To understand the planning of rural elementary school campus and the current development of community integration, four elementary schools in the rural community of Nantou County were selected in this research for carrying out field investigation and interviews, to know the development differences of various community types and the relationships between differences and campus planning, to discover that the rural elementary school campus planning must be different from the viewpoint of urbanization planning, so that the natural ecological environment of community around the elementary campus can be combined with the rich cultural atmosphere of life, production and ecology, to shape the model of elementary schools in rural community as the core of education and life, to show the features and the values of the elementary schools in rural community. The conclusion of the research constructs eight principles of elementary school campus planning in rural community, which includes; the community participation in planning of school’s vision and normalizing campus development, the presentation of rural environmental characteristics, the change of entire society in accordance with the local area, the campus architecture that reduces the load of the environment and conform to the rural ecology, the continuous campus space, the education idea which conforms to the open style, the attribute of the local image and community cultures, and the complex use of campus space and equipment. By establishing of the principle planning, the principle of campus planning leads into the operation pattern. The research results re-establish the thinking of core value “Education” for the rural area. It is hoped that the research provides the reference for planners and designers, and truly realizes the practical operation on the aspect of the elementary school campus planning in rural community.
