溶膠-凝膠法製備抗刮塑膠PET膜之表面特性研究

摘要


本研究主要是利用溶膠-凝膠程序以線棒塗佈方式製備SiO2�具有有機修飾官能基的矽烷類(ORMOSIL)以及SiO2�TiO2�ORMOSIL等抗刮薄膜於PET膜基材表面,起始溶液為矽酸乙酯(Si (OC2H5)4,為SiO2來源)、異丙醇鈦(Ti(OC3H7)4,為TiO2來源)、鈦酸四丁酯(Ti(OC4H9)4,為TiO2來源)以及具環氧基矽烷、氨基矽烷等具有機官能基矽烷(作為ORMOSIL)。此外,反應中亦加入螯合劑ACAC(acetylacetone)作為抑制鈦醇鹽於反應中之水解速率並且藉由改變異丙醇鈦、鈦酸四丁酯與具有機官能基矽烷等之添加量來製備不同化學組成之抗刮塗料。薄膜熱處理溫度係採用70、120及145℃三段式升溫,處理時間為30分鐘。溶膠穩定性係藉巨觀觀察與FTIR分析來瞭解不同組成之溶膠之主要官能基消長情形。硬質薄膜的性質則是藉由SEM觀察、以及透光率、附著性與鉛筆硬度等測試,來獲得各硬質薄膜表面外觀、光學特性以及機械強度之差異。 測試結果發現,SiO2�ORMOSIL薄膜在酸性的催化情形下具良好的附著性,當ORMOSIL�SiO2莫耳比值為4時,硬度可達3H;而SiO2�TiO2�ORMOSIL所製備的溶膠穩定性、附著性都相當良好,當鈦醇鹽�SiO2莫耳比為0.74時,硬度甚至可達5H。研究中所製備的薄膜在可見光區的透光率均在90%以上,SEM觀察顯示抗刮薄膜表面平整,無任何明顯缺陷。

Scratch-resistant films of SiO2/organically modified silane(ORMOSIL) and SiO2/TiO2/ORMOSIL composite materials were prepared on PET film substrates by the sol-gel wire-wound rod coating technique. Coating solutions were prepared by adding tetraethyl orthosilicate Si(OC2H5)4(use as SiO2 source), titanium(IV) isopropoxide Ti(OC3H7)4 (use as TiO2 source), titanium(IV) n-butoxide (Ti(OC3H7)4 , used as TiO2 source) and organically modified silane (such as epoxysilane and aminosilane etc., use as ORMOSIL source) , used as precursors. However, in SiO2/TiO2/ORMOSIL of the sol addition acetylacetone (AcacH , as chelating agent of titanium alkoxide). Different coating solutions were prepared by changing the amount of TBT, TPOT and organically modified silane. The coated films were baked for 30 min at 70, 120, and 145℃, three-stage heat treatment.Sols stability was assessed visually and analyzed by FTIR to determine main functional groups of the different sols prepared. The properties of the prepared films were analyzed by SEM, UV, and tested with Pencil hardness and adhesion tests. The result reveals that the prepared films with a molar ratio of organically modified silane to SiO2 equal to 4 yields a hardness of about 3H, and the films with a molar ratio of titanium alkoxide to SiO2 equal to 0.75 has a hardness above 4H. Besides, these transparent coatings show excellent adhesion on PET film (SiO2/TiO2/ORMOSIL and contain acid catalyst SiO2 / ORMOSIL). An examination of the surface morphology of the coated films indicates no cracks.
