高雄地區大學生健康促進活動參與意向及相關因素之研究

A Study on College Students’ Intention of Participating in Health - Promoting Activities and Other Related Factors in Kaohsiung Area

摘要


本研究目的為探討影響大學生健康促進活動參與意向的因素,採橫斷式相關性研究設計,以高雄地區的技術學院及大學共5所學校之ㄧ、二、三年級學生為研究對象,共計發出問卷675份,得有效問卷595份。研究工具採結構式問卷,內容包括五個部份:個人相關資料、健康促進活動參與情形、影響健康促進活動參與因素量表及健康促進活動參與意向量表和自覺健康狀況量表,收集所得的資料以SPSS for Windows 10.0版統計套裝軟體進行統計分析。 研究結果主要發現如下:(1)大學生曾參與校內所辦的健康促進活動者佔13.4%,所參與的健康促進活動之中以急救訓練為最多,參與之動機以學習新知為最多,對健康促進活動主題的需求的前五項依序為壓力調適、營養、體重控制、人際溝通及急救訓練。(2)就讀類科、活動參與經驗在健康促進活動參與意向方面有顯著的差異性;性別、年級在健康促進活動參與意向方面並沒有顯著的差異。(3)活動相關感受、重要他人影響、活動情境安排、自覺參與利益及自覺參與障礙與健康促進活動參與意向達顯著相關,自覺健康狀況與健康促進活動參與意向未達顯著相關。(4)活動相關感受、就讀類科、自覺參與利益、自覺參與障礙及活動參與經驗是大學生健康促進活動參與意向之重要預測因子,此五個變項可解釋總變異數的26.8%。 本研究結果除可提供學校衛生護理人員了解影響大學生參與健康促進活動的因素,有助於在未來設計和推動健康促進活動時,能針對學生的感受及需求,提升學生的參與度,以收健康促進之成效,並可作為護理研究、教學之參考。

The purpose of this research is to explore the factors which would affect college students to join in health-promoting activities. This inquiry adopts cross-sectional related designed study type. We gave out 675 questionnaires to college students, including freshman, sophomore and senior students of five different institutes of technology and universities, and got 595 valid samples back. There are five parts in this structured questionnaire which includes personal information, the condition of their participation of health-promoting activities, the scale of affecting factors to join in health-promoting activities, the scale of their intention of participating in health-promoting activities, and the scale of self- perceived health status. The data collected will be analyzed with SPSS for Windows 10.0. The main findings will be showed as follows: (1) The percentage of college students who have participated in health-promoting activities at school is 13.4%. Among these health-promoting activities they have joined in, the emergency training is the most popular, and the reason why they went to these activities is to get new knowledge. Their top five needs for the topic of health-promoting activities are to learn how to manage stress, get knowledge about nutrition, control weight, communicate with others and train themselves to face emergency. (2) There are some significant differences among students when we analyzed the data. Students who major in different subjects, and their prior experiences of participating activities will influence their will to go to health-promoting activities. On the other hand, there is no significant difference that shows the gender and the grade will affect students' intentions to participate in the activity. (3) There are five variables having statistically significant correlations with the intention of participating health-promoting activities, inclusive of activity-related feelings, the interpersonal influence, the atmosphere arrangement of the activity, the benefits and the barriers they perceived. However, students’ self-perceived health status does not significantly relate to their intention to participate the activity. (4) The activity-related feelings, the subjects that students major in, self-perceived benefits and self-perceived barriers and the prior experiences of participating activities are the five significant predictable variables of college students’ intentions of participating health-promoting activities, and these five variables can explain 26.8% of the variance. The result of this study can not only provide more information for school nurse to understand the reason why college students choose to join in health-promoting activities or not, but also help take students’ feelings and needs into consideration when people design and try to stimulate the percentage of participation in this kind of activity. By doing this, this research can be the reference to nursing research and teaching.
