大林鎮文化觀光發展之探討

A Research on the Development of Cultural Tourism in Dalin Township

摘要

本論文以大林鎮為研究對象進行文化觀光發展之探討，經由文獻分析、實地參與觀察與半結構式訪談等研究方法深入了解大林鎮的地理、歷史、產業、地方人文資源與目前所進行的文化觀光發展活動現況。再者，大林鎮甫於2016年初申請通過國際慢城認證，本研究也進一步分析大林鎮申請加入國際慢城的緣由及未來發展，並探討慢城理念、指標之實踐對於文化觀光發展的助益，且就大林文化觀光發展未來所需改善的方向提出具體建議。透過本研究發現大林地區目前以進行文化資產觀光和鄉村文化觀光活動為主，未來應進一步落實以在地居民為主、維護地方特色的慢城理念。最後，針對目前大林文化觀光發展所面臨的問題與困境提出七項建議，包括建立旅遊資訊平台、導覽人員的增設及培訓、軟硬體配套措施的加強、發展屬於大林的地方標記、重視地方文化的永續經營、加強地方政府與居民的溝通以及以在地居民為主，提升生活品質的發展。

This article describes a study of cultural tourism development in Dalin Township, Chiayi County. Documentary analysis, participant observation, and semi-structured interview are applied as research methods, and the idea of this study is to find out the geography, history, industry, local humane resources, and the most updated development of cultural tourism activities in Dalin. Moreover, in early 2016, Dalin had earned accreditation by Italy-based Cittaslow International; this study also further examines the reasons of Dalin’s join for Cittaslow International and its future development, discussing the concept of Cittaslow, its indicator system and its benefits for cultural tourism development in Dalin. There are suggestions proposed in the study regarding the cultural tourism development in Dalin Township. It is discovered that the developments in Dalin Township are predominantly based on cultural resources tourism and rural cultural tourism. Dalin should further implement Cittaslow concept which is local residents-oriented and preserves local characteristics. Finally, there are seven suggestions based on the current condition for the cultural tourism development in Dalin: establishing tourism information platform, strengthening the development and training for tour staff, strengthening the supplementary measures of hardware and software, developing local characteristics for Dalin, valuing the sustainable development of the local culture, enhancing the communication between regional government and Dalin residents, and a future development that is based on the welfare of local residents in Dalin.
