從護理之家實務工作者觀點探討照顧服務員培訓課程之適用性

摘要


照顧服務員是目前護理之家最主要的照顧人力,其照顧知識與能力是影響住民照顧品質的重要因素,照顧服務員訓練課程自2003年公佈實施至今已有6年時間,相關研究極為有限。本研究目的在探討護理之家所提供住民照顧及培訓課程對照顧服務員的適用情形。研究設計採質性研究,藉由深度訪談進行資料收集,收案對象包括護理主管及照顧服務員。自民國97年4月至98年3月間,於台中地區四家立案醫療機構附設護理之家以立意取樣方式進行收案,共收案12人,並依Colaizzi資料分析步驟進行歸納整理。研究結果呈現三個主要主題,分別為提供全人整體性照顧、調整學習內容以提昇照顧能力、在職教育具有需求性;由研究結果發現培訓課程對住民照顧具有正向影響,然而對部分課程需進行調整,並加強在職教育的實施。本研究結果增進對住民照顧內容及培訓課程適用性的了解,可提供相關單位設計培訓照顧服務員課程的參考,以提昇照顧服務員照顧知能及住民照顧品質。

Nurse aides are the primary manpower of nursing homes. Their knowledge and capability are important factors which affect residents’ quality of care. It has been six years since the training programs of nurse aides launched in 2003, however, the related researches are very limited. The purpose of this study was to investigate the appropriation of nurse aides training program from the view point of nursing home practitioner. This is a qualitative study and data were collected from April 2008 to March 2009, through one to one indepth interviews with twelve participants, including nurse’s supervisors and nurse aides, from the nursing homes affiliated to four domestic health institutes in Taichung area. Data were analyzed based on Colaizzi’s methodology. The research findings can be categorized by three themes, which are providing holistic care to nursing home residents, amending the contents of training program to enhance the care capability, and the requirement of continuing education. From the results of research, we find that the training program has positive influences on the quality of attendance on residents of nursing homes, however, part of the training programs can be amended and enhance the practice of continuing education. The results of this research promote the understanding in terms of care contents of nursing home residents and training programs applicability. The results can also be used as reference to organizations, which are related to training program design, to improve the knowledge and attendance quality of nursing home residents.
