The Relationship between Supply Chain Structure and Supply Chain Management Strategy

摘要


本研究從三大類型的供應鏈結構角度,了解供應鏈節間的合作方式以及其績效,而分析出此三類供應鏈結構之較佳策略運用。結果顯示,上游收斂型較不適合全球化策略,但最適合加入技術合作、設計、以及共同配送的協同或合作;而中游分散型則最能控制與達到顧客多方與多變的需求,以及最適合全球化策略而能達到資源取得的優勢;至於下游發散型,因為最能了解市場的特性,是最能藉此優勢作為與供應鏈上游夥伴合作的利器。

This paper concentrates on the relationship between three supply chain structures and their value-added strategy application. The upstream convergent supply chain is suitable for the technical, design and logistics collaboration/cooperation and yet globalization would not be the first priority for this structure type. The midstream disperse supply chain could globally source to accomplish the volatile market demands. However, due to the diversion property of accessing market for the downstream divergent type, the companies at the downstream could best start with the strategy of sharing information with the upstream partners.
