1997至1998年家禽大腸桿菌之藥物感受性檢測

Drug Susceptibility of Escherichia coli Isolated from Poultry in Taiwan between 1997 and 1998

摘要


於1997-1998年間由臺灣各地共收集家禽菌株453,其中261株經鑑定為大腸菌。經以Bauer-Kirby之單一劑量圓盤濾紙法,以26種藥劑進行大腸菌菌株之藥物感受性試驗,結果顯示絕大多數大腸菌菌株皆具多重抗藥性,抑制性較高的藥劑依序為florfenicol(83.6%)、norfloxacin(70.6%)、ofloxacin(64.5%)、colistin(60.2%)、及gentamicin(58.5%),對其餘21種藥劑具感受性的菌株比例皆在50%以下,其中對四環素類(羥四環素、氯四環素、四環素、doxycycline)之抗藥性菌株比率皆高達90%以上。本試驗結果經與以往的文獻報告比較,發現最近分離之菌株對多種藥劑之抗藥性有顯著增加以趨勢,尤其對在1980年代有100%敏感性的fluorquinolone類藥物(flumequin),到1990年代抗藥性比例已高達72-76%,而1990年代才在臺灣使用之新一代fluorquinolone類藥物(enrofloxacin、norfloxacin及ofloxacin)則已有25-51%的菌株具有抗藥性,更值得警惕。

Four hundred and fifty-three clinical isolates from poultry in Taiwan between 1997 and 1998 were collected, among them 261 strains classified as Escherichia coli (E. coli). The susceptibility of these E. coli strains against 26 anti-microbial drugs was evaluated by the agar disk diffusion (Bauer-Kirby) test. Most of the isolates were multi-drug resistance. The inhibitory activity in decreasing order was florfenicol (83.6%), norfloxacin (70.6%), ofloxacin (64.5%), colistin (60.2%) and gentamicin (58.5%). On the other hands, the resistance of the isolates test against oxytetracycline, chlortetracycline, tetracycline and doxycycline exceeded 90%. Gradually increasing the resistance to many drugs had been observed in recent isolates in comparison with the previous literatures. Most alarming is the increase of the resistance against the fluoroquinolons: flumequin (from 0% in 1980s to 72-76% in 1990s) and more recently introduced enrofloxacin (49-51%) and ofloxacin (26-33%).
