紫外光硬化塗料耐光性與耐候性之改善

Improvement of the Lightfastness and the Weatherability of UV-curable Coatings on Wood Surface

摘要


本研究之目的係探討光安定劑對國內常用三種紫外光硬化壓克力透明塗料耐光性與耐候性之改善效果,經由人工加速耐光及室外耐候試驗後,分析塗膜表面顏色、物理性質與化學結構變化之改善效應。試驗結果顯示紫外光硬化壓克力透明塗料之耐光性與耐候性可以添加光安定劑的方法予以改善,其中,防止紫外光硬化壓克力透明塗料光變色效果最好的光安定劑劑為UVA-1130,其次為同時添加UVA-1130與HALS兩種光安定劑,而僅添加HALS對塗膜光變色的抑止效果並不理想。又由光電子能譜分析塗膜表面的化學性質變化得知,添加UVA-1130光安定劑確可以減少塗膜表面受天候因子影響而產生的羧酸基與 基劣化衍生物。

The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of light stabilizers on the lightfastness and the weatherability of three commercial UV-curable acrylic clear coatings in Taiwan. After exposure to accelerated lightfastness tester and outdoor environments, the changes in surface color, physical properties and chemical structures of coated oak are evaluated. the experimental results show that the discoloration and degradation of oak coated with three UV-curable acrylic clear coatings can be improved by the addition of either Tinuvin-1130 alone or tinuvin-1130/Tinuvin-123 combination. Based on the results obtained from ESCA analysis, it is also demonstrated that light-induced degradation derivatives with carboxylic and carbonyl groups on the film surface are reduced by the addition of Tinuvin-1130 light stabilizer into the UV-curable acrylic clear coatings.
