摘要

本文針對民國40年、65年及80年基隆地區都市特性相關資料，採統計之因素分析法歸納各該期之都市特性，並以此為基礎利用群落分析之平均鏈結法及多維尺度分析探討基隆地區之空間结構與群落特性。透過本文之分析與彙總，可明確地掌握政府遷台後基隆地區都市結構變遷的過程。

Data reflecting urban characteristics for the Keelung city in 1951, 1976, and 1991 has been simplified through factor analysis. Based on these factors, the average linkage method of cluster analysis and the MDS (Multidimensional Scaling) technique are used to analyze urban structure of Keelung. The analytic process is repeated for each year mentioned above. Comparisons of the results are also given.
