In recent years, the fast proliferation of social media and their innovative practices has already created opportunities for military theories to improve their practices. As such, the face of war has been changed now. The operations and victory in the social media battlefields can create considerable advantages to aid the physical battlefield and become an important strategic tool. How to weaponize it and to construct its structure, characteristics, in order to support possible operation, and to influence general publics have become the new focus of war studies. Through the investigations of relevant literature, this study found that social media can be used not only to support the combat operations, but also to become a multiplier to exponentially increase the effects of military missions. Moreover, the most critical factor is to have this multiplier invested timely and adequately as important elements of supporting functions, in areas such as, human resources, budget, research, time, etc. in order to form an effective combat synergy.
