Mature Ovarian Teratoma with Torsion: Six Case Reports

We reported six patients with mature ovarian teratoma with torsion. Most mature ovarian teratomas are found incidentally. A few cases, patients visit an emergency department with acute abdominal pain that is the result of tumor torsion. There are no specific manifestations except unusual calcification in a lower abdomen X-ray. Emergency physicians should note the signs and remain alert to the possibility of mature ovarian teratoma with torsion.
