摘要

什麼是實在？為何是存在，而非虛無？真理是什麼？這些是重要的哲學問題。本文基於日本京都學派哲學家西谷啟治的空的哲學，從他對於華嚴與禪的當代詮釋觀點，對這些問題加以闡明。西谷啟治的哲學被認為是空之哲學，但是，西谷哲學並不只是一般所了解的淪落空虛的空之哲學，而也是他自己所說的「自體」立場的哲學。西谷所謂「自體」的立場，指的是一切事物應該存在的樣態以及原本存在的樣態，在西谷這種哲學立場之中，色的樣態和空的樣態，可以合而為一；西谷這種哲學和影響西谷甚大的當代哲學家海德格的思想，頗有可以會通之處。
