摘要

美國迪士尼動畫《風中奇緣》（Pocahontas），影片中悠揚悅耳的音樂得到奧斯卡金像獎最佳電影插曲、最佳配樂及金球獎等殊榮，音樂動聽固然引人入勝，但影片內容情節所要呈現的意涵卻值得探究。本研究使用文本分析法嘗試探析此一動畫文本，以「後殖民主義」（Postcolonialism）及Foucault「權力／知識」理論的概念探討片中女主角寶嘉康蒂（Pocahontas）和自家宗族及外來種族的關係。其中展現了男與女、殖民帝國與殖民地，以及族群間的權力鬥爭，亦呈現女性主體在追求自我命運的同時與周遭人們之間權力的互動，這過程中的「權力／知識」又是如何從衝突、緊張演變為和諧、融合，研究者試圖透過本文分析、探討論述，強調世上的人們彼此間牽涉「命運共同體」的概念，傳達人與人之間應互相理解、包容，消弭誤解和避免相互傷害的概念。

＂Pocahontas＂ was a Walt Disney animation. Theme song of the film won Oscar Awards for best movie soundtrack, best original score and the Golden Globe Awards. The music of the movie is fascinating, but the plot of the movie is more worth exploring. The study used text analysis and attempted to analyze the animation text. It used post-colonialism and the concept of knowledge and power relations by Foucault to investigate the relationship between the leading actress of Pocahontas and her own ethnic clan or other races. In the process in which it showed the male and female, colonial empires and colonies, as well as power struggles between the various ethnic groups, also showed that female pursued self-destiny and in the meantime interacted with power between people around. In the process how power and knowledge were transformed from conflicts and tensions into harmony and integration. Researcher attempted through the analysis of text and discussions, emphasizing all the people must have the concept of ＂community of destiny＂, and conveying concepts as follows, people should understand each other, to be tolerant, to eliminate misunderstanding and to avoid hurting each other.
