團隊決策情境中資訊不對稱性與領導者角色對決策效能之影響

The Effects of Information Asymmetry and Leadership on Decision Effectiveness in Group Context

摘要


本研究目的在探討團隊決策情境中,資訊不對稱性與領導者角色對個人與團隊決策效能的影響。研究方法採用二因子完全實驗設計,共計33組,132人。依變項包括決策正確性以及個人學習成效。自變項包括資訊不對稱性以及領導者角色。資訊不對稱性包含兩個水準:資訊權威組(該團隊中某位成員擁有所有決策相關資訊,包括一部分個人獨有而其他成員沒有的資訊,其餘成員各擁有部份資訊)以及資訊分散組(所有成員均只擁有部份資訊);領導者角色的兩個水準為:團隊領導組(團隊擁有領導者)以及自我管理組(成員彼此地位相同,並無領導者)。研究結果發現資訊分散組的個人決策正確性均高於資訊權威組。具有領導者的團隊,其個人學習成效高於自我管理團隊。亦即有團隊領導者會影響個人學習成效而資訊分布會影響決策正確性。

The study examined the effects of information asymmetry and leadership on individual and group decision effectiveness. The research method utilized an experiment with a complicated group judgmental task. There were two levels of information asymmetry: information authority and information disperse. The two levels of leadership were group with leader and self-managing group. Dependent variables include decision performance and individual learning. The result demonstrated that individual decision accuracy in information disperse group were higher than in information authority group. The individual learning effectiveness in group with leader was higher than in the self-managing group. It implies that leadership affect individual learning and information asymmetry affect decision accuracy.
