摘要

親密暴力案件的數量逐年攀升、舊案再犯率亦居高不下，加強男性加害者的探究已是刻不容緩。考量文化特徵是個體行為的重要內涵，因此本研究從文化適應的觀點切入，探索男性親密暴力行為脈絡中所隱含的文化意涵與心理機制。在研究方法上，本研究遵循建構主義研究典範，邀請十位目前在監服刑的親密暴力犯，進行半結構式的個別深度訪談，並邀請兩位協同分析者，一起根據紮根理論的開放編碼原則進行資料分析。研究結果共發現八個重要主題：「出軌：兩套標準」、「為了子女而維繫婚姻」、「妻子未盡家務之責」、「對保護令的反擊」、「催化或伴隨的因素：酒精」、「家內經費分配與使用權」、「丟臉」、「臨床問題」；研究者並從傳統華人文化變遷造成個體適應困擾的角度進行討論。

With the increasing amount of intimate partner violence and the high sustaining rate of recidivism during these past years, it is crucial to explore the psychological mechanism of male batterers. Cultural effects are essential factors regarding domestic violence. However, there are still not enough results of previous studies findings to describe male violence from indigenous perspectives. Based on the viewpoints of how cultural changing, this research tries to explore the cultural meanings of male intimate partner violence in Taiwan. In regard to methodology, this research follows Constructivism Paradigm. Ten prisoners who had violated domestic laws because they had assaulted their wives were invited as interviewees. Semi-structural interviews were processed and data were analyzed by open-coding of grounded theory with two co-analysts. The results demonstrate eight major themes: different fidelity rules between different genders, sustaining marriage for the sake of children care, blame wife for not attending to her role expectations at home, fighting against a restraining order, catalysis effects due to alcohol, the struggle for control the family's budget, shame, and clinical mental problems. The researcher also discusses the results from cultural changing effects on the individual's adjustment.
