Having worked as a reporter for sixteen years, the author provides a specific perspective on the coverage of human rights in the media. She obtained a Master's degree from the Human Rights Program at Soochow University in 2011 and, in this paper, attempts to reveal the situation of human rights in Taiwan through in-depth reports. By so doing, her ambition is to let readers look closely at the fact that the abuse of human rights in Taiwan is a critical issue. Her reports cover the death row, people exploited during human trafficking, psychopaths, and same-sex marriage.
