賢首宗高原法系文獻補遺

The Supplement to the Literature of the Dharma Lineage of the Xian-shou School

摘要


賢首宗「寶通」、「雪浪」、「雲棲」、「高原」四法系傳承中,惟高原法系目前尚無發現明清宗譜專著可供稽考,且各世祖師亦少有專著存世。然由《吳都法乘》、《賢首宗承》與各《地方志》、《寺志》、《詩文集》、《碑文》文獻探究,仍猶能對於多位祖師事蹟略作補遺、亦可推知賢首宗高原法系由第十七世獨芳蘭至第二十三世虎丘清仍皆居於嘉興、蘇州等地、至第二十五世高原明昱始兼慈恩宗、第二十七世樂修慧善方遷傳於北京,並於第二十九世若水超善與嵩嶽自塏興盛京師。第三十世懷一慶餘後,高原法系主要由廣善寺所傳續,至第四十世思元慧三遷台弘法,賢首兼慈恩宗於台灣至今仍持續傳承開展。

Up to the present time, only the "Gao-yuan" Dharma Lineage of the four Dharma Lineages of "Bao-tong", "Xue-lang", "Yun-qi", and "Gao-yuan" of the Xian-shou School has no discovery of any Ming or Qing Dynasties Dharmic genealogical monographs available for examination. In addition, there are also very few extant masterpieces produced by the different generations of patriarchs. However, due to the study of the literature including "Wu-dou fa-sheng", "Xian-shou zong-cheng" (The Xian-shou School Lineage), and various "Local history records", "Temple gazetteers", "Poetry collections", and "Inscriptions on Tablets", yet with regard to the many Patriarchal deeds there still remains some minor addendum. Also the Dharma Lineage of GaoYuan in the XianShou School can be inferred from the Seventeenth Generation Du-fang-fan until the Twenty-third Generation Hu-qiu-qing who were still resident in places like Jia-xing, Su-zhou and others. Till the Twenty-fifth generation, Gao-yuan Ming-yu begins to be concurrently responsible for Ci-en School. The Twenty-seventh generation Le-xiu Hui-shan relocated to Beijing and it was the Twenty-ninth generation Ruo-shui Chao-shan and Song-yue Zi-kai who flourished in the capital city. After the Thirtieth generation Huai-yi Qing-yu, the transmission of the Dharma Lineage of Gao-yuan was primarily maintained by Guang-shan Temple. Up until the Fortieth generation Si-yuan Hui-san moved to Taiwan to propagate the Dharma. Both Xian-shou and Ci-en Schools in Taiwan have persistently continued to develop the traditional lineage.
