Formula 1's business model is unlike that of any other sports series. F1 is the world's most-watched annual sports series and has more than 400 million television viewers every occasion. Hosting an F1 race puts a country on the sporting map and makes awareness. The income from ticket sales comes to an average of around $33 million and has large influence on economy, especially on tourism by generating income in HORECA sector, transportation and other services. Formula 1 races are seen by a global audience and keenly followed by avid fans. It is considered to be the most frequented sports event in the world after the Summer Olympic Games marked by high travel numbers. The Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix marks an important period for Hungarian tourism, as almost 2 million visitors have visited the Hungaroring during the last 25 years. This sports event attracts international visitors with increased tourist spending, which means a regular and calculable income for hotels and restaurants. The Budapest-Central Danube tourist region, where the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix takes place, is a well-developed and easily accessible area close to the capitol city.

This research is the survey research, which evaluates and analyzes the tourism potential resources through 10 diversity sites in Ar-Cha Thong Cave Temple. The study focuses on the recreational opportunities of the site. The sections are Lan-Pra-Keaw, Dan-Satthu-Pai, The Pireepinas, Phrathat In-young, Horse stables, Bann Hok Lang school, Demonstrate rice farming, Sufficient economy learning Center, The main cave or Tham-Luang, and Buddha footprint. This research classified the recreational opportunity into 5 classes which are Developed (D), Semi-Developed (SD), Semi-Primitive Motorized (SPM), Semi-Primitive Non- Motorized (SPNM), and Primitive (P). The intervention instruments included (1) the recreational opportunities diversity form (2) the potential of natural resource evaluation form that defined by 5 assessors. The results shown that the majority recreations sited are Semi-Primitive Motorized (SPM). Moreover, the main cave or Tham-Lung is ranged in Primitive. In addition, the evaluation of natural resources for natural tourism found that the greater part of tourism resources potential are moderated, while the Lan-Pra-Kaew has high potential.

The term dark tourism is used when visitation to death and disaster sites is offered. The distinguished feature of dark tourism products is allowing the tourists to experience, being in a distressed site that is associated with death. The Borneo Death March incident is one of the infamous tragedies in Sabah, in which the victims are militaries from Australia and New Zealand, as well as local people. Up to now, there is limited research done to identify the tourists' motives for visiting dark tourism sites, particularly in Sabah. This study aims to find out the tourists' main motives for visiting the dark tourism site, by using Kundasang War Memorial as a case study, considering that it was the camping site for the prisoners of war (POWs) during the treacherous march from Sandakan. This research is based on data obtained from a survey questionnaire that polled the tourists' motives for visiting the dark tourism site. The data was analyzed to determine what motivates the tourists most in visiting Kundasang War Memorial, as well as their overall perceptions of the site. The results showed that there are four main motives: gaining new knowledge, remembrance of the fallen heroes, re-enactment of past event, and pilgrimage. The most dominant motive was to gain new knowledge, followed by the remembrance of the fallen heroes. It was also shown in the results that a holistic approach is vital for a successful site management. It is hoped that the results from this study can contribute to the improvement of site management in Kundasang War Memorial.

Rapid urbanization makes the spread of urban culture that poses a challenge to the protection and development of ethnic village. How Ethnic villages to solve the problem under urban context? This paper takes Peng village of Hubei province as a case, and is intended to probe into the aspect about tourism development with the methods of field investigation and in-depth interviews and depth analysis. The study finds: First, ethnic villages often are areas with tourism resource endowments, and the villagers generally have desire to develop tourism industry. Development is not the opposite of protection, and village can realize the targets of living protection of resource and development of village economy by tourism development. Second, at present, due to the remote location and backward economy, the tourism here developed desultorily and faced two major problems-first, the villagers reasonable demands are not met; second, the protection and development of traditional culture here is in trouble. The authors propose: ethnic villages should adopt the model of tourism development of "eco-oriented, community participation, rational development and highlighting unique features".

As a coastal tourist city located in the southernmost of mainland China, Sanya boasts a rich, unique, and scarce marine, ecological, and climatic natural resources, that become the most attractive tourism elements, as well as the lifeline of Sanya's future development. However, with the rapid development of the tourism industry and the speeding up of urbanization, ecological and environmental stress gradually emerged, posing some influence on coastal water quality and marine ecological system. This paper researched the achievement of ecological restoration reached through construction of marine ranching, breeding coral reef and other measures conducted by the tropical resort island committed to environmental protection with Wuzhizhou island, the first one to build tropical marine ranching in China, as the object of the research. At the same time, assorted marine leisure tourism projects were developed on the premise of ecological restoration, to achieve the sustainable development of tourism. This plays a positive demonstration role for the construction of scenic spots of coastal tourism in China.
