2004年東沙環礁魚類現況

A Study on Fish Fauna from Dongsha Atoll (Pratas Island) in 2004

摘要


2004年於東沙海域潛水調查到51科323種魚類。有71種魚為以往Chen et al. 1995中未曾記錄之魚類,本海域正式記錄魚已達467種。新增添魚種中,有二種新種:櫛鰕虎(Ctenogobiops sp.)、奇鰕虎(Xenisthmus sp.)命名發表中。另外,四種鰕虎魚-毛狀硬皮鰕虎(Callogobius hastatus)、斑鰭硬皮鰕虎(C. maculipinnis)、絲鰭櫛鰕虎(Ctenogobiops feroculus)、黑腹磯塘鱧(Eviota nigriventris),條腹天竺鯛(Apogon thermalis)、白線鬃尾鲀(Acreichthys tomentosus)、矛吻海龍(Doryrhamphus melanopleura)、華麗尖鼻鲀(Canthigaster epilampra)、費式條尾魟(Himantura fai)、灰尾鸚哥魚(Scarus fuscocaudalis)等9種為台灣地區海域未曾正式紀錄過魚種,後3種目前也在台灣看到但無正式紀錄。 1998年珊瑚大量白化後,目前東沙環礁區魚類於各區域之種數,依各調查站間比較,呈現出:外環礁測站>東沙島邊測站>內環礁測站的現象。

Fifty one families and 323 species of fish were discovered at Dongsha Atoll in 2004 during a survey by scuba-diving. Among them, 71 species were not recorded by Chen et al. (1995), boosting the official record of the fish species in the area to 467. Among the new findings, two new species, Ctenogobiops sp. and Xenisthmus sp. are currently being named. Nine other species: Callogobius hastatus, C. maculipinnis, Ctenogobiops feroculus, Eviota nigriventris, Apogon thermalis, Acreichthys tomentosus, Doryrhamphus melanopleura, Canthigaster epilampra, Himantura fai and Scarus fuscocaudalis were not officially recorded in Taiwan, although the last three species could be found. After the occurrence of massive coral breaching in 1998, the greater number of fish species were found outside the atoll, followed by stations adjacent to Dongsha Island, and the least number were found at stations inside the lagoon.
