運用InVEST模擬土地利用變化對生態系服務效益之影響-以蓮華池地區為例

USING InVEST TO SIMULATE THE IMPACT OF LAND-USE CHANGE ON ECOSYSTEM SERVICES BENEFITS: A CASE STUDY OF LIANHUACHI AREA

摘要


生態系服務(Ecosystem Services)為大自然提供人類重要的資產,現今將生態系服務效益納入各種對於環境開發利用之評估已為趨勢,因此如何快速且準確的進行評估為重要的課題。本研究以南投蓮華池地區1995與2015年之土地利用變化為案例,藉由生態系統服務與權衡綜合評價模型(Integrate Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs, InVEST)作為生態系服務評估工具研究模擬碳吸存(Carbon sequestration)、產水量(Water yield)與土壤保持(Sediment retention)等3種生態系服務。結果顯示2時期因土地利用改變而產生碳吸存量增加,產水量及土壤保持減少之生態系服務效益變化。最後,InVEST工具擁有容易使用的介面,且可評估多種不同之生態系服務效益,並將結果以地圖方式呈現等優點,為未來進行臺灣生態系服務效益評估的可用工具之一。

The term "Ecosystem services" means the benefits and important assets provided to human by natureal enviroments. Nowadays, it has become a trend to include ecosystem services evaluation in environmental development, therefore a quick and accurate evaluation of an area is an important issue. We used the land-use data of Nantou Lianhuachi in 1995 and 2015 and simulated the changes of three types of ecosystem service-"Carbon sequestration", "Water yield" and "Sediment retention" using Integrate Valuation of ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs tool (InVEST) as the ecosystem services assessment tools. The results showed the benefits of ecosystem services changed along the land-use changed in Lianhuachi area with carbon sequestration increased, water yield and sediment retention decreased. The InVEST has many advantages, such as simple user interface, flexible parameters, various ecosystem function assessment and presentation of geographical data. It can be included as one of the tools for Taiwan ecosystem services assessment in the future.
