八斗子附近海域上述四航分析結果發現ATP(介於119.26 ± 59.40與780.98 ± 203.76 ng/l之間)值比ADP(介於91.83 ± 18.95與443.91 ± 236.94 ng/l之間)為高,比AMP(<33.51 ng/l與248.30 ± 149.50 ng/l之間)更高;AEC值(介於0.64 ± 0.03與0.82 ± 0.08之間)隨季節性與區域性變化。
Since October 1976, the municipal wastes of the Keelung City have been disposed in the concrete wall sited at the Patoutzu coastal area. Hydrographical, chemical and ecological parameters, collected in the cruises during the periods of July 6 to 8, October 3 to 5, 1983, and March 20 to 22 and May 15 to 17, 1984, indicated that the organic wastes and heavy metals as well as inorganic nutrients were seeped from the refuse landfill sites. These abiotic chemicals may influence the biological activities in the marine ecosystem. Adenine ribonucleotides (ATP, ADP and AMP) and adenylate energy charge (AEC) ratios in the sea water, collected in the same cruises, have been studied as the measure of the marine biological activities in the Patoutzu coastal area. The results found that the contents of ATP (ranged from 119.26 ± 59.40 to 780.98 ± 203.76 ng/l) were larger than those of ADP (ranged from 91.83 ± 18.95 to 443.91 ± 236.94 ng/l) and AMP (less than 33.51 ng/l to 248.30±149.50 ng/l). The AEC ratios (ranged from 0.64 ± 0.03 to 0.82 ± 0.08) varied with seasons and locations. Generally, high contents of nucleotides and low AEC ratios were found in the stations near the rubbish heaps, and low contents of nucleotides (particularly ATP) and high AEC ratios were in the stations far away the refuse landfill sites. Based on the experimental data, collected in the Patoutzu coastal area, the relationships among ATP, AEC and other environmental parameters [such as heavy metals (lead and copper), inorganic nutrients (nitrite, nitrate, phosphate and silicate), chlorophyll a and primary productivity] have been evaluated. The environmental and ecological impact upon the marine ecosystem in the sea water along the Patoutzu rubbish heaps have been also studied through the comparisons of the data obtained in the Chinshan, Nanwan and Shinda coastal waters.
